Licensed Professional Counselor
Telehealth Therapy Across Texas
Donna Wolf Robichaud understands that deciding to begin counseling can feel difficult and even intimidating. She recognizes that making that first call is often one of the bravest steps a person can take. Having been on both sides of the counseling relationship, Donna brings deep empathy and understanding to her work, especially for clients experiencing fear, anxiety, or emotional exhaustion.
Donna believes that the demands of life can leave people feeling depleted — as though their “vessels” are empty after giving so much to others. She views self-care and self-compassion not as selfish acts, but as essential practices that allow individuals to live with balance, intention, and strength.
Donna brings over ten years of experience across a wide range of settings, including:
Her personal experiences with loss have deeply informed her work, shaping her compassionate, grounded, and client-centered approach to counseling.
Donna considers herself an eclectic, person-centered counselor who leads with empathy and a strengths-based perspective. She integrates faith-based principles into her work in a gentle and respectful way, with the understanding that religious discussion is never required and always guided by the client’s comfort and preference.
She also incorporates creative and expressive techniques when appropriate. Donna is an artist, a Certified Therapeutic Art Life Coach, and has completed 30 graduate credits in Art Therapy. These tools can be especially helpful for clients who find it easier to express emotions through creativity rather than words alone.
In addition to traditional talk therapy, Donna incorporates creative and expressive approaches when helpful. As an artist and Certified Therapeutic Art Life Coach, with advanced graduate training in Art Therapy, she offers clients alternative ways to explore emotions, process grief, and reconnect with their inner strength.
Creative expression can be especially helpful when words feel hard to find. No artistic experience is required — the focus is on self-expression, insight, and healing, not artistic skill.
Creative approaches are always optional and guided by client comfort and preference.
Donna offers faith-informed counseling for clients who desire it. Faith is approached as a source of support, meaning, and hope, while always honoring each client’s individual beliefs, values, and boundaries.
Donna’s hope is to help clients reconnect with their inner strength, restore joy, and move forward with greater clarity and confidence.
