Understanding insurance and therapy costs can feel overwhelming. Our goal is to provide transparency while helping you explore the best options for your care.

At Mind and Faith Counseling Group, we offer telehealth counseling services to clients across Texas and work with both insurance and self-pay options. 

Insurance Coverage

We currently accept Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield and United Healthcare insurance plans. We’re also in the process of becoming credentialed with Medicare, and Medicaid so that we can serve more clients with in‑network benefits.

Insurance acceptance can vary depending on your specific plan and which clinician you work with, so we encourage you to reach out before scheduling to confirm your coverage.

 

Even if your plan isn’t currently accepted, you may still be able to use your out‑of‑network benefits.

Insurance Verification

Before your first appointment, our team can help verify:

  • Whether your clinician is in-network or out-of-network
  • Your estimated copay, coinsurance, or deductible
  • Telehealth coverage eligibility
Please note: Insurance verification is not a guarantee of payment. Final responsibility remains with the client based on their policy terms.

Out-of-Network Benefits

If your insurance plan is out of network, you may still be able to receive services using out-of-network benefits, depending on your policy.
Upon request, we can provide a superbill that you may submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement.
Reimbursement amounts and timelines are determined solely by your insurance provider.

Self-Pay Rates

We welcome clients who prefer to self-pay or whose insurance is not accepted.

What Does Self-Pay Mean?

Self-pay means you pay directly for therapy services without billing insurance. Many clients choose this option for:

Our Self-pay sessions are $150 for individuals and $180 for couples or families. All rates must be reviewed and agreed upon before services begin.

Sliding Scale Availability

We offer a limited number of sliding scale spots based on financial need and clinician availability. Sliding scale is not guaranteed, so please contact us to inquire about current availability.

Payment Information

When Is Payment Due?

Payment is due at the time of service, unless otherwise arranged in advance.

Accepted Payment Methods

We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, and HSA or FSA cards, with all payments processed securely through our electronic payment system for your convenience.
